State Health Laws and School Required Shots

 

    Kindergarten Students

  Your child needs additional 4-5 booster shots between the ages of 3-5.

 Preschool shot records are outdated for your Kindergartner.
 
 Please call your health care clinic to see if you need school shots completed for your child.
 
                         Please feel free to call us anytime in the month of August with immunization questions.  We can assist you with figuring out what is needed for your students’ school requirements before the “back to school rush begins.” jcarlson@triton.k12.mn.us and/or   
 

  7th Grade Students

 Records on file at school should include
  1. 2 doses of  Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR)
  2. 3 doses of Hepatitis B vaccine
  3. 1 Tetanus and whooping cough booster (Tdap) after age 10
  4. 1st dose of meningitis vaccine (MCV)
  5. 2  doses of  chicken pox vaccine  (Varicella) and or physician note stating that the student has had the chicken pox virus in the past

    ~ offered 1 - 2 times monthly by appointment please call 507-635-6150
    ~offer free or reduced shot prices on a sliding fee scale to those students who do not have health care insurance
