Licensed Minnesota K-12 Professional School Counselor
Masters in School Counseling from The University of Iowa
Bachelors in Child Psychology & Spanish Studies with Family Social Science Minor from The University of Minnesota-Twin Cities

Mission: To empower students to grow in their academic, personal/social and career development goals while in a safe, caring and respectful environment. 

Vision: Every Triton High School student will acquire academic, personal/social and career skills to successfully navigate their path to high school graduation and beyond as a lifelong learner.

Goals: To foster academic achievement for every student to graduate from high school.
            To develop a school counseling program that is data-driven, anti-racist, proactive, developmentally
                  appropriate and supports school improvement.
            To prepare every student to create a plan for successful post-high school college and career readiness.

Beliefs:

  • All students should be treated with respect and kindness no matter their race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, etc.

  • Every student can learn and has the right to quality educational opportunities.

  • Nurturing students' social and emotional well-being will aide academic development and future success.

  • Every student should be knowledgeable about the college application, military recruitment and apprenticeship and career application processes so that upon graduation they have the skills and preparation to make their individual choice as to what path is best for them. 

  • All students deserve to feel heard, visible, important, valued, smart and safe.
