John Moenning was first gold in the swine production entrepreneurship proficiency. His application placed in the top three at state and we will learn the results in late April.
Triton's Poultry Evaluation team qualified for state for the first time ever by placing third in the region. Pictured are August Johnson and Poe Broskoff. Not pictured is Wade Holtet.
August Johnson placed second in the extemporaneous speaking contest and will compete at state in late April.
Members can complete applications to get recognition for learning on research projects, job placements or entrepreneurship enterprises. Poe Broskoff completed an application for research of plants in a garden and was rated first gold in Agriscience Research Plant Systems proficiency. Poe is the first student from Triton to enter this category.
Triton's Crops team qualified for state by placing third in the region contest. Members of the team pictured are Brady Staub and Caleb Chilson. Not pictured is Andrew Holtet.
Cadence Spearman placed first in the Farm Bureau Discussion meet and will be competing at the state level in late April.. Cadence was also first gold rated with her proficiency in Diversified Agriculture Placement/Entrepreneurship working her families crop, steer and hog operation.
Jenna Kenworthy led Triton's first state qualifying nursery landscape team by placing third in the region contest.
Tristan Nelson helped to lead Triton's Agricultural Mechanics team back to state for the first time since 2021. He was the first place individual out of 58 mechanics in region 8.
