Triton Middle - High School Parents/Guardians,
We hope that you and your families are getting excited about starting the 2023-24 school year. The start of a new school year is always very exciting and we look forward to making the most of the opportunities this year will present.
We want to make sure that you as families and students have all the information needed for a successful start to the school year. Please review the important dates and information listed below.
TMS - THS Open House, Thursday, August 31, 3 PM - 6 PM
We would love to see you open house. Feel free to stop in any time between 3 PM - 6 PM. We will also have food trucks (Hammer Q and Unbakeable) available outside the activities entrance. Students can pick up Chromebooks and schedules, meet their advisor/homeroom teacher, pick up necessary forms, set up lockers, and make sure everything is good to go for the first day of school.
Sixth Grade Family Information Presentation, Thursday, August 31, 5:30 PM
Families of 6th-grade students are encouraged to attend the Family Information Night presentation in the PAC at 5:30 PM. During the presentation, you will learn details about middle school life and get to know the 6th-grade teaching team.
Chromebook Reminders
Student Chromebooks should be picked up during the open house in the THS Library. Please remember that this year there is a $40 technology fee that will need to be paid at pick-up. Parents can request scholarships by emailing Mr. Lutterman, llutterman@triton.k12.mn.us. Please visit the last Cobra Connections newsletter for additional information if needed.
First Day of School, Orientation Day, Tuesday, September 5
Students in sixth and ninth grade will be the only students who attend school on Tuesday, September 5. On this day we will have orientation experiences. Transportation will run as scheduled on this day. Then all students in grades 6-12 will attend school as normal on Wednesday, September 6. We have implemented this change as we feel orientation experiences are very important and when scheduled in the summer families have many events and activities taking place. This first day is considered a school day for students in sixth and ninth grade and we are hoping for 100% attendance.
Please feel free to contact your respective school office with any questions or concerns.
Thank you!
